Welcome to the Somerset Traction Engine Club!
The club was first formed in 1954 by a small group of people interested in Traction Engines. Fifty plus years on, the club has grown to include a range of interests encompassing old machinery, cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, fairground organs, stationary engines, military vehicles, miniature steam, tractors, emergency vehicles and agricultural implements.
The club hosts the annual New Years Day Road Run and also the Somerset Steam Spectacular held in Langport each July. A varied range of Social Nights, Events and Club Trips are held throughout the winter months. |
